Our Prices Are Information, Not Quotes
The numbers on this site are typical cost ranges we compile to help you know what a job usually runs. They are not quotes, not offers, and not professional or trade advice. The only real price for your job is the one a licensed contractor gives you after seeing it. Prices change; treat every figure as a starting point, not a promise.
We're Not a Contractor
PlumbingCosts.ca is an independent information site. We don't perform plumbing work and we don't employ the contractors we may connect you with. When you use the quote form, any agreement, work, and payment is strictly between you and the contractor. We're not a party to it and we're not responsible for their work, conduct, pricing, or licensing.
Advertising
Some placements on the site are paid — advertising or sponsored contractor listings. We label those as advertising where they appear. A paid placement is not an endorsement, and it doesn't change the cost figures in our guides.
No Warranty
We work to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we provide it "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the figures are exact for your situation, that the site is error-free, or that any contractor will respond. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or from decisions you make based on it.
Using Our Content
The text, data, design, and branding on this site are ours. You're welcome to read, share, and cite pages with a link back. Don't republish our data wholesale or scrape the site for a competing product without permission.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
